Why does a day-based calculation sometimes return a decimal for Insights Dashboards?

Calculations in Power BI models and dashboards can return decimal values for the number of days. This is expected behavior and reflects the calculation’s precision. Different reporting experiences can display the same day-based result differently, for example, standard reporting may display the value as a whole number.
