Insights Projects Dashboard

The Projects Dashboard allows you to report on data captured by the Projects Object available in one of the supported modules. You can utilize the data available on the Projects Dashboard to inspect data about the relationships between the various object records and relationship records in your organization and the people who own the various Projects.

The Projects Dashboard is divided into the following tabs: Summary | Tables. The following sections provide additional details on each tab.

Note:

To access the Insights Projects Dashboard, navigate to Reports  >  Dashboards. Then enable the Insights Dashboards setting.

The Insights Projects Dashboard can also be accessed within a supported module's Dashboard menu (e.g. Data Mapping Automation > Dashboard, then enable Insights Dashboards and select Projects Default Dashboard).

Summary Tab

The Summary tab provides a look at different data points about the available projects in your organization, all filterable by types, owners, and workflows.



The following metrics are available on the Summary tab:

Field
Description
Type

Select one or more of the available project types to filter the dashboard with applicable data.

Project Owner

Select one or more of the available Project Owners to filter the dashboard with applicable data.

Workflow

Select one or more of the available workflows to filter the dashboard with applicable data.

Created Date

Drag the slider to adjust the time period of the data that displays in the dashboard tiles.

Deadline

Drag the slider to adjust the time period of the data that displays in the dashboard tiles.

Number of Projects

Total number of projects based on the current selections.

Stage Distribution

Total number of projects currently in each workflow stage.

Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of projects in each stage. In addition, you can click each bar to display only data for that particular stage type. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.

Projects by Type

Total number of projects sorted according to project type.

Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of projects per type. In addition, you can click each bar to display only data for that particular project type. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.

Projects by Project Owner

Total number of projects belonging to each project owner.

Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of projects belonging to each project owner. In addition, you can click each bar to display only data for that particular owner. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.

Type Distribution

Distribution percentage of project types according to the current filter selections.

Hover over each segment in the chart to view the exact number and percent of all project types. In addition, you can click each segment to display only data for that particular project type. Click the segment once more to return to the original view.

Project Owner Distribution

Distribution percentage of projects belonging to each project owner.

Hover over each segment in the chart to view the exact number and percent of project types owned by each project owner. In addition, you can click each segment to display only data for that particular project owner. Click the segment once more to return to the original view.

Projects by Organization

Total number of projects per organization level.

Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of projects per organization level. In addition, you can click each bar to display only data for that particular organization level. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.

Tables Tab

The Tables tab offers a different view of the data presented in the Summary tab so you can easily report on information in a tabular format.



The following metrics are available on the Tables tab:

Type

Select one or more of the available project types to filter the dashboard with applicable data.

Project Owner

Select one or more of the available Project Owners to filter the dashboard with applicable data.

Workflow

Select one or more of the available workflows to filter the dashboard with applicable data.

Created Date

Drag the slider to adjust the time period of the data that displays in the dashboard tiles.

Deadline

Drag the slider to adjust the time period of the data that displays in the dashboard tiles.

Table

A table that highlights all data from the dashboard by default. Select one or more types, project owners, or workflows with applied filters to show specific details. The table contains the following columns:

  • Project ID

  • Project Name

  • Stage

  • Workflow

  • Organization

  • Project Owner

  • Type
