Enhancements to Consent Receipts APIs

Updated the Create Consent Receipts API, Create Identified Consent Receipts API, and Create Consent Receipts in Bulk API to support the InteractionDate request parameter under the purposes object. This enhancement enables purpose-level consent interactions to be recorded independently, providing more granular consent tracking, auditing, and reporting. This enhancement also streamlines bulk importing for consent receipts by reducing the number of receipts required.

Fixed

  • Resolved an issue that prevented data subject profile updates and withdrawals from processing when custom data element names contained invisible characters, such as zero-width spaces.

  • Resolved an issue that caused the Double Opt-In (DOI) retry scheduler to send confirmation emails beyond the configured maximum retry limit.

  • Resolved an issue that caused the Update Data Subject Group V4 API to return an error when allowed primary identifier types contained spaces.

  • Resolved an issue that overwrote the primary identifier type on a data subject profile with the secondary identifier type when submitting consent via a Dynamic Collection Point.

addendum: This release note was added on October 2, 2026.

Existing Public Preview Features

CMP Consent Context

Added support to our existing data hierarchy to allow CMP consent users to provide consent for a purpose multiple times when using consent groups. When using consent groups with the unified profile feature, the CMP will use the same data subject for different consent groups, eliminating the need to create additional profiles.
