Cookie Consent Integration with HubSpot

To integrate Cookie Consent with HubSpot

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the Settings icon in the main navigation bar.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Website menu.
  3. Select Pages.


  4. Select the domain that you want to edit.
  5. Under the Templates tab, add the Cookie Banner script to the Site header HTML field.


  6. Click the Save button.

To block Hubspot cookies

To remove existing Hubspot cookie banners

If your site has a Hubspot cookie banner enabled already, you must disable this to prevent two banners from displaying.

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the Settings icon in the main navigation bar.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to the Account Setup menu.
  3. Select Privacy & Consent.
  4. Select Cookies at the top of the page.
  5. Click the Actions selection menu next to the active Hubspot banner name. A list of actions appearsselect Edit or Delete.

    1. Edit the banner and limit the domains to which it applies if some sites should still have the Hubspot banner.



    2. Delete the banner if you would like to remove it from all sites.

Legacy Implementation

If your Hubspot solution is using the editor from before September of 2022, the following steps are necessary to prevent two banners from showing after implementing OneTrust. In new implementations of Hubspot sites, the Hubspot Consent Banner is off by default until activated.

Please note, you must turn off the default HubSpot Cookie Policy Notice or else you will have two banners displayed on your site. In order to turn off the HubSpot Cookie Policy, follow these directions:

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the Settings icon in the main navigation bar.

  2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Cookies.

  3. Select Default policy.

    Use cookies

    click the switch to track your visitors with cookies.

    Notify visitors that your site uses cookies

    click the switch to display a notification to your visitors to show that your site uses cookies.

    Require opt-in

    click the switch to require users to opt in to cookie tracking.

  4. Make sure to disable Notify visitors that your site uses cookies as well as Require opt-in.
