Nesting Conditional Logic in Integration Workflows

You can nest and stack conditional logic with applicable operators to launch a specific workflow based on selected values. This feature can produce more granular results for an integration while condensing the length and complexity of a workflow.

Conditional logic can be leveraged in the event that if a consumer opt-out of sale request is received from California but they haven't submitted a request within the last 12 months and there are no legal holds, you can nest logic to filter requests before intake.

Ask your account executive to enable this feature for your account. For more information on integration workflow configuration and customization, see Managing Custom Integrations.

To configure conditional logic

  1. On the Integrations menu, select Integrations.

    The Integrations screen appears.

  2. Click the workflow you want to configure.

    The Integration Builder screen appears.

  3. Specify the OneTrust trigger, then add a new action from which the workflow should initiate.
  4. Click the Logic tab, then click Condition.

    The Conditional block appears.

  5. Specify the condition settings of the logic to establish a sequence of criteria for the workflow execution.
    Field
    Description
    ANY

Selecting ANY will establish an OR sequence, meaning if any of the values apply the workflow will trigger the condition. This allows the integration several possible options in the execution.

    ALL

Selecting ALL will establish an AND sequence, meaning if and only if all the operators meet the condition criteria the workflow will trigger the action. This requires the integration to satisfy all the values before the action will be executed.

  6. Configure the action with lookup parameters, operators, and values to produce the necessary logic. Use the ANY or ALL condition setting within the condition to further customize the sequence criteria.
  7. Click the Add Condition button to add another condition that is subject to the initial ANY or ALL selection.
  8. Click the Add icon to add additional conditions to the initial condition, which is subject to the ANY or ALL selection. Click the Remove icon button to remove the additional condition.

  9. Click the Done button, then resume with your workflow configuration for the If Yes or If No actions.
