Creating & Managing Classification Profiles
You can create Classification Profiles to easily select a set of classifiers that need to be run for the scan. This allows Data Discovery users to quickly group the appropriate classifiers for a given data sample based on a particular need, law or framework, setting preferences, or targeted data sample set.
For more information on the new engine, see Entity Classification Service Overview.
Supported Default Profiles
The following are available classification profiles supplied out-of-the-box for Data Discovery customers. These profiles come configured with enabled classifiers with unique discovery patterns, column-matching, or other enabled settings intended for the broader category of the profile (e.g. Germany Address for the GDPR-Germany profile).
Refer to the Classifiers tab in the respective details screen of the Classification Profile to review the currently available classifiers seeded in the profile.
