Using AI-Powered Document Analysis

Important:

The AI-Powered Policy Analysis feature is under Public Preview. Please contact OneTrust Support to request early access.

The OneTrust AI‑powered document analysis helps you quickly assess policies, standards, and procedures against established frameworks. By automatically identifying gaps and generating actionable recommendations, this feature reduces manual review effort and helps ensure your documentation is aligned with controls, risks, issues, and compliance requirements. Document details are not used when generating recommendations. Recommendations for controls, risks, and issues are based solely on the framework selected for the document.

When you analyze a document, AI reviews its content against the selected framework to:

  • Extract relevant requirements and control language

  • Identify potential gaps or missing coverage

  • Recommend related controls, risks, or issues

AI‑generated recommendations appear in the Recommended section of the following areas on the document details screen to help you quickly connect relevant objects and take action where remediation may be needed:

  • Controls

  • Risks

  • Issues
