Total Volume Scanned

This widget identifies the total amount of all scanned metrics discovered from all data sources. You can also view the aggregate data of a chosen data source. It captures the all-time volume of data that has ever been scanned, regardless of file resizing.

OneTrust Data Discovery connectors are designed to discover and scan various file types, like compressed files, where upon discovery additional files are identified as additional assets and reported accordingly. Consequently, the number of actual files discovered may be higher than what is reported by your data source. OneTrust connectors only report the volume they were able to extract and process. This reported volume may differ from the volume usage reported by the data source for several reasons, including but not limited to, versioning and backups.

Important:

Uncompressed volume is not currently included in the Total Volume Scanned. This is a known issue that will be resolved in an upcoming release.
