Prerequisites

Authentication

Salesforce Marketing Cloud supports server-to-server (OAuthClient) authentication. This mode allows direct application permissions setup within the SFMC UI, eliminating the need for browser-based logins or manual permission grants.

Required Properties

  • AuthScheme: OAuthClient

  • InitiateOAuth: GETANDREFRESH

  • OAuthClientId: Unique client ID for your application.

  • OAuthClientSecret: Secret key paired with your client ID.

  • Subdomain: Specific Salesforce Marketing Cloud API subdomain.
