To manage classifier details, metadata settings, and classifier settings

  1. On the Data Discovery menu, select Classifiers. The Classifiers screen appears.

  2. Click a Classifier Label. The Classifiers Details screen appears.

  3. In the Details tab, you can edit the Classifier Details section fields as necessary.
    Field
    Description
    Classifier Name

    Enter a unique name for this classifier.

    Description

    Provide an optional description with details about this classifier to inform users of its purpose.

    Glossary Term

    Select from the available glossary terms to link this classifier to established terms.

    Click the Create New Glossary Term button to add a new term.

    Minimum Threshold

    Enter a percentage value that serves as the minimum number of data samples that must match before adding the classifying label.

  4. In the Metadata Settings section, you can return to edit the metadata conditions for Custom Classifiers only to improve the classification labeling as you account for new or existing column values.
  5. In the Classifier Settings section, you can update what structure type the scan should check.
  6. Click the Save button.
