Implementing the Collection Point Using the Reference HTML

You can integrate the Hosted SDK on your web page using reference HTML for a web form Collection Point that includes the defined Purposes, Purpose Preferences, and data elements. The reference HTML generated within the application outputs a whole set of code that you can simply copy and paste into your desired web page as is or further customize based on your functionality and branding needs.

The reference HTML includes a basic stylesheet, a form for the Collection Point, and the SDK content. The form is built from the configurations defined on the Details tab, such as the configured data subject identifier, data elements, and Purposes of processing.

To use the Collection Point reference HTML

  1. On the Universal Consent & Preference Management menu, select Interfaces > Collection Points. The Collection Points screen appears.

  2. Click the link in the Name column for a Web Form Collection Point for which you want to use the reference HTML. The Collection Point Details screen appears.

  3. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  4. Enable the Use Hosted SDK Settings setting.
  5. Navigate to the Integrations tab.
  6. Click the HTML+SDK button. The reference HTML for the Collection Point appears.

  7. Click the Copy HTML button to copy the code snippet for your Collection Point. You can then paste it into the web page where you want to display your web form.
