Mobile App Consent Models

You can configure mobile consent models for each category of SDK you set up.

There are five mobile consent models:

  1. Notice Only

  2. Opt-out

  3. Opt-in

  4. Custom

Consent Models

Notice OnlyIf you select Notice Only as the default consent model, all SDK categories will be set and cannot be disabled by application users. A banner informing the user that the application uses SDKs will be displayed on the home screen of the mobile application.

Opt-outIf you select Opt-out, all SDK categories (besides Strictly Necessary) will be set to require opt-out. These SDKs will be automatically enabled when the user launches the application. The application user can disable the non-Strictly Necessary SDKs in the Preference Center.

Opt-inIf you select Opt-in, all SDK categories (besides Strictly Necessary) will be set to opt-in. These SDK will not be set on the user's device unless they are enabled in the Preference Center.

CustomIf you select this option, you can set a different default status for each category of SDK on your application.
