Promoting Projects to AI Systems

Promoting a Project to an AI System helps you preserve evaluation data, reduce redundant work, and maintain institutional knowledge. This streamlined workflow accelerates system deployment, improves consistency between planning and execution phases, and maximizes return on initial evaluation investments by carrying forward critical insights throughout the AI solution's lifecycle.
To promote a project
- Click the Context Menu icon for the given project, then select Promote.
The Promote projects screen appears.
- First, the screen will populate all the project attributes associated with the given project record and present all of the corresponding or most likely attributes for an AI system. Use the fields to create a mapping of attributes. Unmapped fields will not be transferred to the new AI System record.
- For the Related entities includes section, confirm the relationship type that should be created between the target name and target type. They will all be selected by default. Uncheck the relationship type to remove the target relationship.
- For the Related data includes section, confirm the objects (assessments, risks, controls) that should be included in this new AI System record. They will all be selected by default. Uncheck the object to exclude the data object from the new AI system record.
- Ensure your AI system details and selections are correct before proceeding. Navigate backwards using the Back button to make changes as necessary.
- Click the Promote button to finalize the promotion. The AI system created successfully modal will appear to confirm that the promotion occurred. You can now navigate to the AI system for details review or continue to AI Systems or Projects list screens.
