SSO Configuration

Single Sign-On (SSO) makes your Documentation Portal experience more personal, convenient, and productive. By signing in with your existing OneTrust credentials, you'll gain access to features that help you stay informed, save time, and quickly return to the content you use most often.
Note: Expected December 2026

What Is Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to access the Documentation Portal using your existing company login rather than managing a separate account and password.

More importantly, SSO enables the portal to recognize you and provide personalized features that are tailored to your needs. Instead of every visit being anonymous, the portal can remember your preferences and provide a more customized experience. SSO is required for several upcoming portal capabilities.

Why Is SSO Beneficial?

OneTrust believes in gate-free documentation while logging in provides additional experiences. SSO enables:
A Personalized Documentation Experience
Once signed in, the portal can provide features and experiences associated with your account, making it easier to find, manage, and track the information that matters most to you.
Content Subscriptions

Stay informed without having to revisit documentation pages repeatedly.

Content Subscriptions allow you to receive notifications when documentation is updated, helping you stay current with product changes, new guidance, and important content updates. Because subscriptions are tied to your user profile, SSO is required to enable this capability. (Planned capability.)

Content Library

Save and organize the documentation you reference most often.

The Content Library provides a convenient way to build a personal collection of frequently used articles, guides, and resources so they are easy to find whenever you need them. Because your saved content must be associated with your account, this feature requires SSO. (Planned capability.)

Future Personalized Features
SSO establishes the foundation for future enhancements that can provide a more tailored documentation experience based on your preferences and activity within the portal.

Why Is SSO Required?

Features such as Content Subscriptions and Content Library rely on the ability to associate information with an individual user account.

SSO provides the secure authentication needed to:

  • Store your personal preferences
  • Save and organize content
  • Deliver update notifications
  • Enable future personalized experiences

Without authentication, the portal cannot identify individual users and therefore cannot provide these personalized capabilities.
